With two decades of experience in Costuming for film and television, I bring a wealth of expertise to my craft. Hailing from Austin, Texas, I have had the privilege of working in diverse and vibrant cities such as New York, New Orleans, and Budapest. In recent years, I have moved into holding positions as an Assistant Costume Designer and Costume Supervisor, roles I deeply enjoy and excel in. My love for historical Costuming and the intricate details that bring characters to life on screen has been a driving force behind my work.
In pursuit of further opportunities and growth, I relocated to the UK on a Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa. This move has allowed me to immerse myself in a new cultural landscape and refine my skills in an environment rich with history and artistic tradition. The UK has offered me a platform to collaborate with like-minded professionals and continue my exploration of Costume work in film and television.
Thanks to my extensive career in film and television and the valuable connections I've cultivated, I've had the privilege of showcasing my millinery skills on a diverse range of shows. From Westerns to Sci-Fi and period biopics, I've crafted hats and headpieces for renowned studios like Paramount +, HBO Max, Netflix, Disney, Hulu, and Amazon.
Beyond simply creating stunning headwear, being part of these productions has afforded me the opportunity to contribute to the storytelling process, infusing characters and their worlds with depth and authenticity.
My career began in New York, working with Stylists on commercials, which provided a solid foundation of knowledge and skills. I then brought this experience back to Austin, Texas, working on the NBC series Friday Night Lights. In New Orleans, I contributed to the acclaimed film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and later served as Assistant Costume Designer for the Netflix series Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings in Atlanta.
Throughout my career, I've held various positions within the costume department. This has given me a comprehensive understanding of how different parts and skilled people come together to create something great. This knowledge has been invaluable as I moved into Supervising and Assistant Designing. These experiences have refined my technical skills and deepened my appreciation for the role of Costuming in creating compelling, authentic characters and narratives.
